Terms of Use
Last updated: 8 June 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the BioInformatics by LilySys website (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Informational purpose only
Content on the Site is provided for general information about our services. It does not constitute professional, scientific, clinical, or legal advice, and should not be relied upon as such. Nothing on the Site is an offer capable of acceptance or a binding commitment to provide services.
3. Services are provided under separate agreements
Any engagement for bioinformatics, AI/ML, or research-IT services is governed by a separate written agreement (such as a statement of work, services agreement, and/or non-disclosure agreement). In the event of any conflict, that agreement prevails over these terms for the relevant engagement.
4. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — text, graphics, logos, and code — are owned by or licensed to BioInformatics by LilySys and are protected by applicable law. You may view and share links to the Site, but you may not copy, reproduce, or republish material from it for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, scraping at a scale that disrupts service, or using it for unlawful purposes.
6. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites or tools. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and links do not imply endorsement.
7. No warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory local rights.
